A little about myself, My name is Len Carlson. I grew up on a farm 20 miles North West of Winnipeg in the small town of Meadows. At the age of 16 I went to school at Sturgeon Creek Regional Secondary School where I took power mechanics and went on to graduate from Red River College as a Journeyman mechanic. After working at various auto repair shops in Winnipeg I open my own shop and have been in business for 20+ years. I also raced stock cars at Winnipeg Speedway and many other race tracks around the country and the upperĀ US states from 1976 to 1990. In 2006 I decided it was time for a change - my farming background started to kick in again and I felt the need to go back and dig in the dirt! So I sold my Auto Service business and bought a Cat 257B Multi terrain loader to replace my Bobcat and a Hitachi 35U excavator and a dump trailer and Dig It Excavating was born. Now I have the best job in the world - I get to play in somebody else's sandbox every day!
